Good/Bad Website Smackdown
The two websites I chose for my Good/Bad website smackdown were TackleDirect.com and Fishermansheadquarters.com. When I first visited the TackleDirect website, I was immediately engaged by the colorways and responsive design after moving my mouse around. TackleDirects site was not only pleasing to the eye but easy to navigate and find specific items due to its “Narrow Your Search” option. This option allows users to narrow their search based on brand, price, ratings, item availability, features, and specifications. The ability to refine the search and limit the number of items displayed, that meet search requirements, makes for ease of navigation. The responsive design breaks down items into 6 categories, within each category, there are 25-100 more subcategories displayed from merely moving your mouse over the groups.
